Research Questions

What actors, determinants and mechanisms are fostering or hindering the spread of clean and energy-efficient technologies?
How should an efficient and effective trans-formation towards a sustainable energy system be governed and managed?

Approach

We are developing and testing dynamic theories on institutional structures, decision making and energy system behavior.
We apply and visualize simulation models as micro worlds and boundary objects for strategy making, policy design and analyses.
